USD 350 Board of Education

The St. John USD 350 Board of Education is made up of community members representing the district's different areas. The board meets once a month in the district office in St. John, Kansas.

USD 350  BOARD GOALS

The USD 350 Board of Education adopted the following goals to support improving student achievement and facilitate district operations.

Goal Areas of Strength to Maintain, Continue, and Support

1.  Quality Teachers – continue to retain and recruit quality teachers for all curricular areas.

2.  Strong Administrative Leadership – continue to support administrative leadership in the interest of our students.

3.  Community Support – continue to recognize the key importance of strong community support for our schools and programs.

4.  Financial and Fiscal Stability – continue to budget and operate our school district through sound financial and fiscal practices and stewardship.

 Goal Opportunity Areas to Pursue

1.  Cutting Edge Technology – Continue to study and implement the use of technology that will enhance and expand student learning and career opportunities.

2.  Expanding Career Opportunities – Providing students with more curricular opportunities that will enhance and expand career choices.

3.  Visionary Staff - Developing staff to be visionary in their work.

4.  Small Program Fiscal Support - Developing the use of the Education Foundation for long range fiscal support of small programs.

5.  Develop student “soft skills” - Expand our curriculum to provide for “soft skills” development for all students.
