USD 350 students made excellent marks in the 2011 Kansas Assessment tests, with a high number of classes meeting the rigorous Standard of Excellence in reading and mathematics at one or more grade levels.
The Standard of Excellence is set by the state and is measured by the percentage of students scoring in each of the five categories on the Kansas Assessments. Those categories are Academic Warning, Basic, Meets Standard, Exceeds Standard and Exemplary.
Our students and staff have again demonstrated achieving the rigorous standards set by No Child Left Behind (NCLB). We are proud of their efforts and these great results.
Students reached the Standard of Excellence in the following areas: Elem. Reading Grade 6; Elem. Math Grade 5; H.S. Reading Grade 7, 8, and 11; H.S. Reading Building-Wide; and H.S. Math Grade 7; H.S. Math Building-Wide; Science Grade 7.
