Covid Protocols 2021-22

Quarantine & Close Contact Update - January 18, 2022

A temporary suspension of close contact identification and quarantines for schools is in effect in the state as of 1/18/22.  Please see the letter below for information.  This information supercedes informationi in the most recent Covid protocols document.

Covid Quarantine Memo 1-18-22

Covid protocols have been updated as of the regular board meeting on January 10th.  The current list of protocols can be downloaded below.

Covid Protocols 1-10-22

Current Mask Level - Optional as of December 6, 2021

Download the mask opt-out form here and return to the school office (please note that those wearing masks properly are exempt from quarantine requirements, depending on the circumstances): Opt-Out Form / Opt-Out Form Spanish

Morning Drop Off: Our morning procedures will be a bit different moving forward.  We ask that students not arrive to school until 7:50 if at all possible.  Students should report directly to their classrooms rather than to the gym.  If students ride the bus, or eat breakfast at school, or there is another reason why they must be here before 7:50, then they will go to the gym as usual. Breakfast is still available at school and buses will still arrive at school at 7:30.  We simply want to cut down on the large groups of students gathered in the gyms before school.

Information about optional Covid testing and vaccinations for staff and students is included in the document below from KDHE.  We are utilizing testing plan #1 strategy A, testing plan #2 strategy A, and testing plan #3 strategy C, and vaccination plan A.  There is an option to test to avoid exclusion from school in the case of exposure.  Testing and vaccinations are not mandated by school board policy, but are available for all staff and students.
