Unified School District #350 is located in Stafford County in south central Kansas. The schools and district offices are all located on one campus in the city of St. John. The district includes the surrounding rural areas as well as the city of Hudson.
USD 350 has 32 certified employees and 25 classified staff members. St. John-Hudson schools educates approximately 350 students each year and has a general fund budget of $3.4 million. The district is a member of the Educational Services and Staff Development Association of Central Kansas (ESSDACK) in Hutchinson and is part of the
South Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative (SCKSEC) in Pratt.
USD 350 has a committed and effective instructional staff. The schools have innovative programs like a student-run bank, residential caprentry, environmental resources & wildlife, and the Tiger Coffee shop.
The St. John-Hudson community is a close-knit community with traditional values. Agriculture is the primary industry in the area. St. John has a population of about 1300. Hudson has roughly 125 residents and is where the world-famous Hudson Cream Flour is made. Stafford county is well known for its outstanding hunting and wildlife viewing opportunities and is home to the Quiviria National Wildlife Refuge.District Contact Information
The district office is open from 7:30 to 4:00, Monday through Friday. Our entrance is located at the corner of 5th & Monroe at the southeast part of the campus. This entrance is north of the library.
